Tomato – dose response on fruit ripening
2.5% is the optimum. At 4%, the number of ripe fruit per plant falls from 29 to 7 — below the control's 21. The plant sets fruit but can't ripen it.

One of our clearest examples of why there is a dose ceiling — a higher dose isn't "more protection," it's a different effect.
