The same shape recurs across seven independent trials: most of the effect arrives at a low dose, and high doses do harm. In one tomato trial, ripe fruit per plant fell from 29 at 2.5 % to 7 at 4 % — below the control’s 21. That is why our dosage recommendations have a ceiling.
