Greenhouse
Fertilisation and root development for greenhouse tomatoes
The most sensitive moment for a tomato is establishment after planting out, when the root system takes over from the plant's own reserves. If that handover stalls, the plant stops. At fruit set the requirement changes: the plant should ripen fruit rather than build more foliage, and the dose comes down.
Dosage by stage
Soil pre-treatmentReduced 2026
Water or spray the soil at least 24 hours before planting out. Gives faster establishment and less stress afterwards.
Growing plantsReduced 2026
Spray the whole plant and the soil. Gives stronger foliage and a stronger root system.
Once fruit appears
Halved frequency from fruit set onwards. Gives more even fruit set and steadier growth.
Via stock solution
Dosed over two days through the stock solution or separate vessels connected to it.
