Is Allgrow right for your operation?
Allgrow works on the root system first. You see it in establishment, then in bud and fruit set. This page says where the effect is clearest, and how to find out what it does on your ground without committing to anything.
What Allgrow does
Allgrow is a biostimulant, not a fertiliser. It supplies no nutrition to speak of — it changes how the plant takes up and uses the nutrition you already give it. In practice this often means Allgrow replaces part of your existing fertiliser programme rather than simply adding to it: a more efficient uptake can lower how much nutrition you need to apply for the same result. How much depends on your soil, crop and current programme — talk to your advisor about what that means for you.
The effect is clearest if
- you raise plants, cuttings or young plants. Root establishment is where the product does most, and in the germination trials Allgrow produced both more shoots and taller shoots at the same time.
- you grow in a greenhouse, tunnel or pot, where you control the water and can keep treated and untreated sections apart. Then you see the difference yourself instead of having to take our word for it.
- you manage turf, a golf course or grass and can apply through existing irrigation or a sprayer.
- you already have equipment that doses a liquid product — ordinary irrigation, tractor sprayer, knapsack sprayer, sprinkler or drip. No rebuilding is needed to try it.
What the trials show
- Root development has been independently reviewed. Grobruket AB tested Allgrow against a control on white mustard with statistical analysis: at 3 % the number of lateral roots more than doubled, at 10 % it came out worse than the control. Read the review →
- The pattern recurs across many crops and two decades, and the independent review found the same dose ceiling we had seen ourselves.
- The most carefully run trial is the leek: four plots of 8×20 metres at 1.5 per cent. Allgrow gave a higher yield in all four, ten per cent on average. The tomato trial ran over two seasons and gave plus twelve per cent at 1.5 per cent.
- The measurements range from individual plants and pots to kilos per hectare. A result from a pot does not tell you what happens in a field — read the trials with that in mind; every figure is published.
- We have no large-scale Swedish potato growers as references. We are glad to take on pilot cases, since earlier testing shows very good results. Read about the pilot →
What it costs to find out
A pilot requires no rebuilding and no new equipment. You need a defined part of your growing area, an equally sized untreated part beside it, and enough product to cover it — usually a few litres. Work out the quantity in the calculator and you know what you are asking for before you contact us.
