Grass & Lawn – How to Use Allgrow

Allgrow is used during seed germination, lawn establishment, and ongoing lawn maintenance.
The correct dosage provides faster establishment, longer root development, healthier turf, and reduced nitrogen requirements.

How to Use Allgrow for Grass Seed Germination in Soil

Recommended Strength: 5% Allgrow

Mixing Example: 1 dl Allgrow + 1 liter of water per 1 m²

Soil Mix: 50% sand + 50% peat

Temperature: 20–22 °C

Instruction: Water the mixture onto the soil. This results in faster germination, better initial root development, and more uniform establishment.

New Lawn Establishment

Recommended Strenght: 5% Allgrow
Mixing Example: 8 dl Allgrow +15 liters of water per 100 m²

Instruction:

  1. Prepare the soil
    • Minimum 10 cm of humus‑rich sandy soil
    • Level and compact the soil (footprint no deeper than 1 cm)
    • Moisten the soil thoroughly
  2. Treatment with Allgrow
    • Mix according to the instructions above
    • Apply the solution evenly across the surface
  3. Sowing
    • Spread the grass seed evenly
    • Use a lawn roller or mesh roller to ensure good soil contact
    • Keep the surface moist (small amounts, frequently)

After Establishment

Recommended Strength: 2% Allgrow
Mixing Example: 3 dl Allgrow +15 liters of water per 100 m²

Frequency: Once per week, preferably in the evening

Instruction:

Regular irrigation should be done no earlier than 15 hours after treatment.

Existing Lawn

Old Lawn

  • Rototill down to 20 cm
  • Remove weeds, stones, roots
  • Spread 5 cm of sand and rototill again
  • Compact the soil (footprint no deeper than 1 cm)
  • Continue according to New Lawn Establishment

Clay Soil

  • Spread 5 cm of topsoil (high peat content) and rototill it in
  • Spread 5 cm of sand
  • Compact the soil
  • Continue according to New Lawn Establishment

Very Poor Soil

  • Spread 1 m³ of cow manure per 100 m²
  • Rototill it into the soil
  • Compact the soil
  • Continue according to New Lawn Establishment
