Seed germination with Allgrow

Germination is a brief seed treatment, not the sustained exposure a growing plant receives, so higher concentrations apply here than on the crop pages. In our own germination trials Allgrow produced both more shoots and taller shoots than the control — in one, the shortest treated shoot exceeded the tallest untreated one.

Dosage by stage

On paper

Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoSeed treatment only

Strength 5 %Mix: 0.5 dl Allgrow + 1 L waterWatering: Moisten the paperFrequency: About 3 hours

Optimal temperature 20 °C. Place the seeds on the moistened paper.

Same procedure as above, at a higher concentration.

In soil

SeedbedSeed treatment only

Strength 10 %Mix: 2 dl Allgrow + 2 L waterWatering: Water onto 1 m²Frequency: Once

Soil mix 50 % sand and 50 % peat, temperature 20–22 °C.

Propagation

From germination to potting onReduced 2026

Strength 2,5 %Mix: 0.5 dl Allgrow + 2 L waterWatering: 1 dl per plant or 2 L/m²Frequency: Once weekly for 4 weeks

This is now a growing plant, so the dose follows the crop-page ceiling. If the soil is very dry, wait 24 hours before the next watering.

Effect

  • More seeds germinated
  • Faster germination
  • More even and taller shoots
